Familton, Reida
Relda Familton Q.S.M. [3 June 1943 - 12 July, 1995] attended Sacred Heart, Wanganui, and was an exchange student at the University of Wisconsn in Madison, USA. She joined Broadcasting in 1961 in 1967 was with WNTV 1’s Town and Around team. Relda had a wide interest in music, was a keen horsewoman, and an enthusiastic pointer; she appreciated good food and wine.
She later went on to host Radio New Zealand's all night National programme.

My understanding is that her voice recording is still used for announcements at the Wellington train station.
