Harrow, Lisa

Born in New Zealand won an Arts Council bursary to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and fulfil her childhood dream of being a Shakespearean actress. When she finished her course, she almost immediately joined the Royal Shakespeare Company. Within a year, she played Olivia in “Twelfth Night.”

She left the R.S.C. in 1973 to take roles in films, television, and other stage work including  Space: 1999, Star Maidens, 1990, Omen III: The Final Conflict, Nancy Astor, Other Halves, and Shaker Run.

In the 2015 New Year Honours, she was awarded a New Zealand Order of Merit for services to dramatic arts.
