Sixteen finalists vie for the national title and the chance to represent New Zealand at the Miss World contest. Featuring the draw for the Golden Kiwi Magic Marble lottery, live from the Regent Theatre, Dunedin. Special guests include the Drifters and the Coasters, from the US; Miss World, Kimberly Santos, from Guam; and New Zealand country and western star Eddie Low.
