A thanksgiving service, broadcast live from the Wellington Cathedral, to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the birth of Lord Baden-Powell, founder of the Scout and Girl Guide movements. The service is conducted by the Dean of Wellington, the Very Rev James Thomas, and attending are the Governor-General, the Chief Scout of New Zealand, and Lady Beattie, president of the New Zealand Girl Guides Association.
