Roger Donaldson and Michael Smith, of Aardvark Films took Bert Munro, the 74-year-old Invercargill pensioner who held the world speed record for motor-cycles in the under 750 c.c. streamlined class to the Salt Flats on his last trip and filmed him in action there.
