Bob Parker hosts this programme featuring New Zealand's top A and B grade marching bands competing for honours two weeks ago at Carisbrook Park, Dune-din. Skellerup Woolston Brass, Continental Airlines, Auckland Brass, Evening Post Onslow Brass and Invercargill Garrison are just a few of the bands in tonight's pro-gramme.

A tradition at the conclusion of each year's Brass Band Championships was for some of the bands to compete for the title of "Most Entertaining Band". Ray Woolf compered the 1982 event at the Dunedin Town Hall. The five competing bands were Evening Post Onslow Brass, Wanganui Garrison, Otago Savings Bank St Kilda, Invercargill Garrison and Takapuna.
