1) Morrie Davis: The office boy who became Chief Executive of Air New Zealand until the inquiry into the Mount Erebus air dis-aster brought about his controversial retirement.
2) Rosemary McLeod: Journalist, scriptwriter and author
3) Murray Ball: Cartoonist, creator of Foot-rot Flats and outspoken critic of the Springbok tour and royalty.
4) Mike Bungay: Criminal lawyer who specialises in defending murder cases. His most successful case was his defence of William Ball Sutch against charges of spying.
5) Mildred Woods: English-born actress, best known for her performance as the Close to Home character, Mrs Featherston, a role she has been playing for seven years.
6) Ces Blazey: Chairman of the Rugby Foot-ball Union, the man responsible for defending rugby's case during the Springbok tour last year.
