Her career started at Auckland's Central Theatre and then moving to Downstage Theatre in Wellington. For two years she appeared as Dr Pip Osborne, Madeleine's daughter, in Close to Home and in 1977 left the series to return to Auckland where she worked in radio drama and for the Mercury Theatre.
