always reminded me of Ted Baxter from WRKP Cincinatti. He was mainly a sports frontman for TV2 and TVNZ sport when it all became One again. Once when an event being televised was delayed by severe weather he sat in the grandstand on camera and filled (Waffled) for 20 mins about anything he could dream up except sport ..cos he didn't really have much sports knowledge. A great funny guy.
