Sad news that the kiwi screen icon Sam Neill passed away on July 13th.
From early work producing a series of shorts for the National Film Unit he starting acting during the fledgling years of local television, then a lead role in Sleeping Dogs and the start of an international acting career on both the big and small screen back when the difference held some meaning.
Condolences to Mr Neill's family and friends.
